God! I can't believe it. I am blogging too...an' this is my first ever blog that I have ever written in my life. Sounds redundant and 'oh! so fake'...doesn't it? Well...I guess I'll improve with time. Now I don't know where to start...comes as quite a surprise...considering I am a journalist. But if you ask the print guys...they would say NO...after all television journalists r not so highly rated both in their writing skills or their journalistic attributes unlike their print counterparts :). And i guess a journalist without a job will certainly be considered a failure. But trust me...this blog is certainly not to break my head over what I don't have. What I do have however, is my first blog and I must say, the inspirations for me to start the blog have been quite extra-ordinary....the movie Julie & Julia and SRK. Ya u guessed it...if u r a movie buff then I am sure u know what I am talking 'bout...an iconic Hollywood movie and an iconic Bollywood superstar.
U'v got to c Julie & Julia...how the lives of both women change, how they struggle through their hardships in their own ways..and how they never meet each other in the film...yet connected in some way...at least Julia thinks that. And if u haven't seen it...then i highly recommend it. And don't underestimate me on that...i hold a post-graduation degree in films from a well reputed institute.
This blog is also tribute to Shahrukh Khan...one of the reasons of my writing this blog is that one day King Khan himself will read it and once again be reminded of his greatness. The man certainly deserves it. Believe me...I have worked in 7 different television media organizations and nowhere (believe me...nowhere) anyone has ever thought that I can be a gr8 reporter or a news-reader for that matter. Ya...just a lill bit of reporting/news reading here and there...but none of the jobs consistent enough. And btw none of the offices have been bigwigs of the industry...Oops! no breaking my head on my failure!
But ya...Mr SRK...hats off to u...u haven't just charmed people on ur way to reach the top...but have successfully managed to stay there. I wish I'd b like u one day...as successful an' as rich.
And ya for u readers...is somebody listening? (Oops! reading?) I am writing this as my diary. So i'll log in everyday and probably share with u something interesting...well hopefully.
